HEEEEY EXCITED, OVERWHELMED, ENGAGED PERSON!
We are so glad to be included on your wedding planning adventure even if it’s just for these few split seconds as tab 48 of the 52 wedding related tabs open in your browser.
Maybe you’ve never needed a photographer before. That’s okay, we always tell our couples this ain’t our first rodeo. Or our hundredth rodeo.
We do this alllll the time, and it’s our job to make a very not-normal thing (dressing up all fancy, getting totes emosh in front of eleventy seven pairs of eyeballs and being photographed all the while) feel as comfortable and normal as it can be.
That means no peering out from behind tree trunks, no making heart shapes with your hands, or any of the other wedding photo cliches that make us all cringe. We only shoot what’s real and what’s true and what will serve as your memories of a day well spent with the ones you love… and we have a whole lot of fun while we’re at it, because wedding days are happy days!
Cloud Catcher Studio is a wedding photography collective shooting weddings in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, interstate and overseas.
Hi I’m Ann-Louise, the lady behind the lens at Possum Creek Studios. Byron Bay has been my home for over 7 years now, and wedding photography my long-term passion.
My local knowledge of the region’s people, landscapes and climate is extensive and I have photographed in just about every conceivable weather event! While my portfolio includes 100’s of weddings photographed all over the world, it’s beach and hinterland weddings which most closely connect with my photographic style - playful, relaxed and candid with a love of landscapes, light and colour.
As your wedding photographer I am constantly chasing the big moments and the small, the vibrancy and the emotion, the characters and their stories with creativity and grace so that you get to re-live your day over and over again.
I truly understand what a privilege and honour it is to photograph your wedding and can’t wait to hear more about you, your love story and your plans. This is just the beginning, so head over to my website to find out more and let’s get this party started!

Hi, I’m Carly.
I’ve been documenting weddings in Byron Bay and Australia wide for the past 5 years now. I picked up a camera when I switched to walking to my barista job in Brisbane. It slowed things right down for me and I began to see so much more around me. I became fascinated in capturing it all and needed to know more about my camera and what we could be capable of together. So I studied photography for 2 years at SBIT, and shortly after, began my journey into weddings.
I try to seek out the feeling when photographing weddings and find I’m often drawn to the odd imperfections that sometimes occur, like a bit of blur or grain. It’s probably from my love of analog photography and the nostalgic feeling it has.
I’m always learning and love the journey that photography is taking me on.
I was raised to value the beauty of handmade things. To love art and music and to fill my world with creativity. I show up enthusiastic and I have a deep love of bringing calm and joy to people.
I’m mad passionate about creating good imagery.
I love what I do…
If you want photos of your wedding day that have meaning and tell YOUR story in a unique way. Photos that are simply beautiful and honest and that reflect all the joy of real moments… Then let’s talk.
If you want your story told truthfully, have a sense of adventure, humour and desire emotive images over posed perfection, I think we are going to be a great fit.
"Danielle is truely amazing! We could not have wished for a better photographer to capture this exciting time in our lives as we prepare to get married. She has been incredibly kind, fun, creative, and friendly from the 1st time we contacted her. We knew her work was amazing but seeing ourselves in her photos made us love her even more. We feel so much more relaxed in front of the camera, which has taken away a lot of the stress before the big day! We honestly could not have asked for more out of our engagement photos and know that our wedding photos will be incredible " - Emma Boulter

We are fun and creative. We love to capture all the moments of happiness in life ~ There’s a story behind everything, and we use our unique style in telling that story. We love what we do, and we hope we can grab your profound memories turning it into something special for you.
Once in a while, we travel. Sometimes 4000km away, sometimes just somewhere close by to chill out in the arvo. We love to share these memories with family and friends. It is our journey, and we believe that these memories will stay with us forever!
We believe in documenting your wedding in the most natural, artistic, romantic way possible. Making the most of your surroundings and love for each other .
Our approach is very relaxed and candid when it comes to capturing your special moments.
We are so passionate about making wedding videos or photo galleries that are real.
Not over produced, staged or turned into something that it wasn't.
We want you to be able to relive your day again and again.
I tell stories, not with words, but with actions. Not with pictures, but with memories. Ones that are printed and kept forever. This is what is important to me, capturing what is real. I don’t want fake and cheesy cake cuts and first dances. I want to record the real love of the day. I want you to remember the real lighting, the real emotions, the real moments and not the way you were setup for your fake first kiss.
I won’t be checking my watch every 15 minutes at reception waiting for my cue to leave. I won’t be telling you how to hold your partner’s hand. I won’t be doing anything cheesy and posed, but I will be there for when it really happens.
This is what I want for you. To remember the reality of what really happened. Your true love story.
